For more than a thousand years, people crossed the Caribbean to reach Isla Mujeres, drawn to the island as a place of healing, reflection and new beginnings.
The journey itself was a crossing made with intention — stepping away from the familiar and returning with something new.
This January, we make our own crossing.
The Island
A Place Chosen with Intention
We didn’t choose Isla Mujeres simply because it’s beautiful.
We chose it because its story echoes the values at the heart of The Lineage.
For centuries, this island has been a place of pilgrimage, healing and new beginnings. At its southernmost point stands the Temple of Ixchel, an ancient Maya site associated with healing, renewal and guidance. It also served as a lighthouse, its fire guiding sailors safely home through the darkness. Today, Punta Sur is the first place in Mexico to greet the rising sun each morning.
There couldn’t be a more meaningful place to begin the first retreat in The Lineage’s history.

For five days, we leave the familiar behind. Every part of The Retreat is intentionally designed to take you outside the everyday — through movement and stillness, challenge and reflection, adventure and new experiences — creating the space to see yourself, your life and what comes next from a different perspective.

Reserved exclusively for The Retreat, our private oceanfront villa on Isla Mujeres is more than where we stay. For five days, the entire property is ours — a beautiful, private setting to move, gather, celebrate, slow down and experience something completely outside the everyday.
Without hotel crowds or shared resort spaces, the experience feels intentionally different. Every yoga space, ocean view, lounge chair and shared meal is ours alone. There are no reservations to make, no schedules to work around, and no competition for the best spot by the water—just the freedom to settle in and enjoy the experience from beginning to end.
Beautifully designed indoor and outdoor living spaces, breathtaking Caribbean views and thoughtfully appointed guest rooms create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and deeply relaxing. You don’t need to pay for your retreat all at once. A $1,000 USD deposit secures your room, with the remaining investment divided into scheduled instalments.
Reserve by October 7 and save $175 USD per person. After October 7, retreat pricing increases — and the room you want may no longer be available.
Accommodations are reserved in the order completed registrations are received.

Or maybe life is good — and you’re simply ready to challenge yourself, experience something completely different and see what else might be possible.
You don’t need to arrive with something to fix. Just a willingness to step outside the familiar and see what five extraordinary days might shift.
How do I get to Isla Mujeres?
Once you arrive at Cancun International Airport, we’ll take care of the rest.
Our Ontario travel advisor, Camille, will help coordinate your travel arrangements before departure and can assist with flights and the required travel insurance. Once you arrive in Cancun, private airport transportation and a private boat transfer will bring you directly to Casa Coco on Isla Mujeres. Your return transportation to Cancun International Airport is also included.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Many people choose to travel on their own.
If you’re travelling solo and reserve a shared room, we’ll thoughtfully pair you with another guest we believe will be a great fit. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet someone new while sharing the experience together.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Comprehensive travel health and trip cancellation/interruption insurance is required for all guests attending The Retreat.

What level of experience is required?
The Retreat is designed for members of The Lineage community.
Whether you’ve been practising with us for years or have joined more recently, Sarah and Pauline will offer options throughout the retreat to support a range of experience levels.
How do I reserve my spot?
Complete the Retreat Reservation Form below and let us know your preferred room selection, who you’d like to share with (if applicable), along with any dietary requirements, allergies or accommodations we should be aware of.
Once we’ve confirmed your room availability, we’ll send your deposit information, payment schedule and everything you need to prepare for The Retreat.
What is your cancellation policy?
There are no refunds if you need to cancel your trip for any reason. For this reason trip cancellation/interruption insurance is mandatory for everyone.
